SummerFest, “Henry Four” 2Nite; Coming July 15-19: Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

Well-received by audiences and critic’s alike, SummerFest’s first week’s offering of Shakespeare’s Henry the Fourth, Part One has its final performance tonight, Sunday, July 12 at 8:45 pm at the Arboretum.  We hope to see you at the show tonight with a great  - and dry – weather forecast …Hurray!

One of Lexington’s finest, most respected and well-liked actor’s is  Walter Tunis.  His funny, touching, wise portrayal of Sir John Falstaff “the comic Socrates” in Henry IV, Part I  is simply not to be missed.  Also known by many in Central Kentucky as the contributing Music Critic for the Lexington Herald-Leader,  Walter’s on-line blog “The Musical Box” is always a must-read for this music lover.  Today’s feature, titled “Music to learn Shakespeare by” is no exception and is a delightful look at one aspect of  the artist’s process:  how does one learn all those lines?  Read Walter’s account by clicking on the link to the “The Musical Box”: http://musicalbox.bloginky.com
